When I was a little boy I always wanted to have the camera and take photos. Mostly because I didn’t (and still don’t) like to be photographed….. and the only place where you are sure you won’t be in the photo is when you take the photo.

So at a young age I was already in control of the camera and I can say that I’m a lot more in control of it now days.

In 2010 I did some courses on model photography and enjoyed the interaction you have with a model. I found it so much more fun than the nature or sport photography I had done mostly up to then.

The best thing about model photography is creating something together. To develop an idea in to a photo exactly how you planned it, having fun and getting the best out of each other. For the model the best expressions and most intens looks and for the photographer the best light, composition and atmosphere.

Everybody has a beauty, it’s up to you to get it out and capture it on the camera.
